Bowling for Columbine

Here's the five things:

1) I liked that Michael Moore faced Charlston Heston with the truth.

2) I think it was very interresting with all those stories about the school shootings in USA. 

3) It was a good way Michael Moore told about the bad things in USA, eg all the terrorisme-stories. 

4) I think it was good that way Michael Moore showed that he didn't like the gun law, and in irony  made a acount in a bank, where he received a free gun.

5) I liked that Michael Moore helped two victims from Columbine, by getting the weapon company 'K-mark' to stop their sale of weapons and bullets.  

Engelsk ordstilling:

Her er noget om ordstilling på engelsk, jeg er ikke helt sikker på om jeg har forstået det rigtigt...


Man skal for det første huske at der, ALTID er ligefrem ordstilling på engelsk. Og på engelsk skal biordsled også stå først, eller sidst i en sætning, aldrig midt i.

5 facts about the movie 'Bowling for Columbine'

Here's the facts:

1) About 11.000 people is killed by a gun, every year in USA.

2) USA have the record for the school shooting with the youngest boy as the shooter.

3) The school shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold played bowling the morning before they did the massacre at Columbine.

4) It's creepy how good you can see the shooters on the cameras.

5) I wondered about that Canada is so much safer than USA, and how much the media in USA  is scaring the people. 

School shootings:

A school shooting is when someone, maybe a previous student, or a complete stranger, walk into a school and shoots around. It had happens alot of times i USA, and not so many times in europe. There actually were a school shooting i Denmark in April 1994. A male student kill two fellow students on Aarhus Universitet, before he comments suicide. Most of the times the shooter kills himself afterwards, maybe because he feels shame.
I think School shooting is a very scary thing, and i will not hope it happens to our school.

Answers to english questions:

1. The moderator Lisa's first question to the members of the debate is: Why do people own guns? 

Write down what Andrea, Maxwell, and Jessica believe is the reason for this.

- Andrea belives that people own guns for sports, hunting and so they can defend themselves.

Maxwell, think that men own guns because they have a small penis. and sp they can feel more 'macho'.

Jessica belives that wemen own guns so they can feel more safe, if they are scared of walking in the night.  

2. Jessica says that many Americans want to have a gun because of the media and films. Do you agree with Jessica? Why? Why not?

I kinda agree, bacause if some people eg watch a 'James Bond' movie, then they maybe feel a bit cooler with a gun. I don't know.

3. Rhajik talks a lot about the military when he is talking about guns. What does he say about the military and their need and use of guns?

He says that the military won't be very effective if they ain't got guns.

4. Maxwell names some facts about guns. Name at least one of them. Comment on the fact. 

He says that one reason is because they have a small penis. That means that they feel more like a 'man', with a gun.

5. Maxwell says that the reason why criminals have guns is because the citizens are armed. Do you think that is right? How do you think it is in Denmark?

I think it's right, because they need something to protect themselves, and they also need to be just as powerful as the citizens.

6. What does Andrea think should be changed in  America's gun law?

I can't remember.

7. Rhajik says that power should be returned to the people, the individual. It should be totally legal to own guns. No one should rule. We should be responsible for our own lives. What do you think about this? 

I don't think anyone should own a gun, besides the policeofficers etc.

8. In the end of the dabte, all the debate members are asked to say in short what they think about guns. Choose at least two of the members and write down their opinion. 

9. Lisa ends the debate by giving the Americans an advice about guns. What does she say?

Line Mikkelsen

Line Mikkelsen

Hi, I'm going to write about one of my best friends Line Mikkelsen. She's 14 years old, and she lives in Ødum. The same town as me. I have known Line since i was about six years old, when we started in school. And since we met we have been friends. Now we are older and still good friends. I got alot of funny,  and very nice memories with Line, when we're together we always have alot of fun. Everytime we're i the cinema, we always buy ALOT of candy, and popcorn. And we love to make alot of fun with each other. Eg saying hello to strangers, and throw candy after eachother. I know it sounds wierd, but we're also a kind of crazy. Then we laugh and laugh. 
Line's hair is darkbrown and she's about 1.70 cm high. Her brothers got alot of funny nicknames to her, eg 'Nuk nuk', because they say she looks like a greenlanders. I don't think so, but it's funny anyway.
I feel that i can say everything to Line, and i think she's a very good friend. 
Line's parents are devoiced. They got devoiced when Line was about 8 years old, then she was very sad, but now she happy again. Line lives with her father, and every second weekend she's with her mom, in the little town Løgten. Where her mom, Vibbe lives with her new boyfriend Tommy. 
Line got two brothers, Nicolai and Per. 
With her father, Max, line has a dog, his name is Elvis. He's very cute, and he's a mix between a labrador and an alsatian, he is big, black, and very soft and kind. Line loves him, and i understand.

now i got a blog.

hi. now i got a blog, and i'm very exited to write in it. so this is my first message.
After the summerholiday our class got a new english teacher. She sayd that we should may ba blog, and upload our english homework in our blog. And now i'm started with it.
